The UFC’s inaugrural event in South Korea now officially has a main event as Benson Henderson will take on Thiago Alves in a five round contest.

UFC Fight Night 79 will be held on November 28, 2015 at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea.

Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson (22-5-0 MMA) will be looking to extend his unbeaten run at welterweight following his debut win at 170lbs over Brandon Thatch. Henderson, who is proudly half Korean, will also be taking his second fight in Asia after successfully defeating Frankie Edgar by unanimous decision in Japan three years ago.

Looking to put a stop to Henderson’s success is Brazilian Thiago Alves (26-10 MMA). Alves returned from a two-year hiatus in 2014 and earned consecutive wins over Seth Baczynski and Jordan Mein in his first two Octagon appearances. Most recently, however, he was stopped by current No. 1 contender Carlos Condit after two rounds in the UFC Fight Night Goiania headliner on May 30.

With this fight addition UFC Fight Night 79 now looks like this.

Mirko Filipović vs. Anthony Hamilton
