Miesha Tate not told that Holly Holm would be fighting Ronda Rousey at UFC 195.

Following her fourth straight win at UFC on FOX 16 in July, UFC president Dana White promised Miesha Tate the next title shot against champion Ronda Rousey.

However earlier today Ronda Rousey announced on Good Morning America that she would actuallybe facing Holly Holm at UFC 195 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Following the announcement that UFC 195 will feature a headlining bout between Rousey and Holly Holm, Tate’s manager spoke to MMAFighting.com and revealed that the announcement was made before Tate was even informed that she had been overlooked.

“I want to know the reasons behind [the decision], to not even be given a head’s up is very disappointing. She doesn’t even know yet. She is going to be absolutely shocked.”

”I found out just like you did. Very disappointed to hear the news.””
