Johnny Case vs. Yan Cabral added to UFC Fight Night 77 in Brazil

The UFC have added a lightweight bout to the UFC Fight Night 77 card as Yan Cabral takes on Johnny Case at 155lbs.

UFC Fight Night 77 takes place Nov. 7 in Sao Paulo, though a venue hasn’t been finalized.

Cabral (12-1 MMA ) Cabral was expected to face K.J. Noons on May 30, 2015 at UFC Fight Night 67. However, Cabral was forced out of the bout after contracting Dengue Fever and replaced by Alex Oliveira. Cabral is currently 2-1 inside the UFC, most recently defeating Naoyuki Kotani via rear-naked choke at UFC 179 in Brazil.

Case (21-4 MMA) is on an incredible win streak, winning 11 in a row including his first three appearences in the UFC. In his UFC debut, Case impressed with a “Performance of the Night” submission of Kazuki Tokudome in Japan. He followed that up in January with a third-round TKO of Frankie Perez in Boston, then took a decision from Francisco Trevino in June at UFC 188 in Mexico City.
