UFC Fight Night 67 will be held on May 30, 2015 at the Goiânia Arena in Goiânia, Brazil.
The event will be the second that the UFC has hosted in Goiânia, Brazil after UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Henderson on November 9, 2013.

The event will be headlined by a welterweight bout between former WEC & UFC Interim Welterweight champion Carlos Condit and veteran contender Thiago Alves.

Condit (29-8 MMA) is 1-3 in his previous four bouts and has not been seen in the octagon for over a year due to injuries. A title fight loss to Georges St. Pierre was followed up by a unanimous decision loss to former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks at UFC 158. Both of these losses resulted in Condit earning ‘Fight of the Night’ honors. Another ‘Fight of the Night’ performance came next for ‘The Natural Born Killer’, as he knocked out Martin Kampmann in a headlining bout in Indianapolis in August, 2013.  His latest bout inside the octagon came against Tyron Woodley at UFC 171, where he would lose via TKO due to a knee injury in the second round.

Alves (21-9 MMA) is currently riding a two fight winning streak since returning to the UFC after a long layoff. After over two years away from the sport due to a litany of injuries and lengthy rehabilitations, Alves returned to face Seth Baczynski on April 19, 2014 at UFC on Fox 11. He won the fight via unanimous decision. The win also earned Alves his second Fight of the Night bonus award.

Alves was expected to face Jordan Mein on August 23, 2014 at UFC Fight Night 49. However, Alves pulled out of the bout citing yet another injury, and was replaced by Brandon Thatch. Subsequently, Thatch also pulled out of the bout with Mein citing a toe injury. The bout between Alves and Mein would later be rescheduled and eventually took place on January 31, 2015 at UFC 183. Alves won the fight via TKO in the second round, after hurting Mein with a brutal kick in the solar plexus and capitalizing with subsequent punches. This win also won Alves his first Performance of the Night bonus award.

The co-main event at UFC Fight Night 67 features a featherweight contest between Nik Lentz and Charles Oliveira.
