UFC 186 will be held on April 25, 2015, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event will be the seventh event that the UFC has hosted in Montreal, Quebec.

The event was expected to be headlined by a UFC Bantamweight Championship rematch between current champion T.J. Dillashaw and former champion Renan Barão. However on March 24, it was announced that Dillashaw had to pull out of the fight due to a broken rib and the fight was postponed. A UFC Flyweight Championship bout between current champion Demetrious Johnson and top contender Kyoji Horiguchi, originally scheduled for the co-main event, will now serve as the event’s headliner.

Johnson (21-2-1 MMA) is the only man to ever hold the UFC Flyweight championship. Holding the belt for 940 days (as of 20/04/2015), ‘Mighty Mouse’ has looked unstoppable in his title run as of late. In five title defences, Johnson has won three post fight bonuses and finished three of his opponents. His last title defence came against Chris Cariaso at UFC 178. Johnson looked dominant and finished Cariaso via submission (armbar) in the second round.

Horiguchi (15-1 MMA) is currently 4-0 in the UFC (3-0 at flyweight). Decision victories over Darrell Montague and Louis Gaudinotwere sandwiched by a TKO win over at Jon Delos Reyes.

The co-main event features a middleweight bout between UFC veterans Michael Bisping and CB Dollaway. Bisping (25-7 MMA) has alternated wins and loses since he TKO’d Jason Miller at The Fighter 14 Finale in 2011. Widely regarded as one of the best fighters in the UFC to never fight for a title, ‘The Count’ is coming off a submission loss to Luke Rockhold at UFC Fight Night 55 in Sydney, Australia.

Dollaway (15-6 MMA) had a nice two fight winning streak snapped in his previous fight. Wins over Cezar Ferreira and Francis Carmont were followed by a brutal TKO loss to former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida at UFC Fight Night 58 in Barueri, Brazil.
